Family Date to Temple Square

Phil and I planned a family date up in Salt Lake City one Saturday. We went to lunch at Rodizio Grill, then walked around City Creek, and finished the night at Temple Square. Although it was Saturday and it was snowing, we all had such a great time and it wasn't terribly crowded. 

Grant was loving the snow. He kept tipping his head back and sticking his tongue out trying to catch it.

We went to the Visitor's Center on Temple Square while we waited for the Christmas lights to come on. We saw the Christus and Grant was fascinated. It was adorable.

We all bundled up so well that the snow was hardly a problem! It made the day and night even more beautiful.

A nice man took our family picture in front of some of the Christmas lights. I am so grateful we have made these great memories together. There is nothing better than spending quality time with our children. We have really taken advantage of the opportunities this holiday season.
