My sister, Bethany, called earlier this week and invited me and the boys to go to Lindon with her to ride "The Halloween Express" - a free train ride provided by a family with spooky tunnels, children and adults in costume and fantastic music. I knew the boys would love it so we obliged.
We waited in line less than 10 minutes, although with the way the line area zigzagged with ropes and walkways, we knew had we been any later we would have waited much longer. We were given a ticket for our group, then shuffled into a waiting area, where we watched clips from Sleepy Hollow and Nightmare Before Christmas. Then we were escorted to another short line where animated pumpkins sang spooky songs . The decorations were really pretty elaborate. For that reason, Henry spent the entire duration of our experience like this:

I think this was one of my favorite Halloween experiences so far. The best part for me was the music from Disneyland's Haunted House playing throughout the ride. It made me feel like I was a kid again! Can't wait to go again next year!

That looks really fun! It seems like everyone had a fun time. There are so many great activities this time of year before it starts getting too cold.
I took my grandson on this last year but we went after dark. It was very fun.... and a little scary for both of us.!!!
