Our playgroup this month went to none other than The Home Depot. They arranged for us to have a tour of the store and then build a craft at the end of the tour. I was lucky and got to have Braddock and Emma tag along with me and the boys. They had a great time! I think the highlight of the experience was using a hammer to nail their little sailboats together. The highlight of my experience was seeing them in little orange aprons!
The Home Depot has a free kids craft on the first Saturday of every month, however they usually end up with about 600 kids there. If you want a less chaotic experience, I recommend scheduling a tour with a playgroup. So fun!
