gratitude: day four

I know it sounds obvious, but today I am grateful for electricity. Two days ago, we lost power in our neighborhood (actually, in half of the county) for about two hours. No hair dryer, flat iron, lights, dishwasher... you get the idea. Every time I walked into a room, I flipped the light switch before remembering there was no electricity. I refused to feel frustrated or complain because of how lucky we are to have it in the first place. I was pretty relieved when the power was restored, and especially thankful.
