My little brother, Jared, came home from his mission last week. He served in the Idaho Boise Mission and made a stop in Salt Lake City to visit all of us sisters that no longer reside in Arizona. We got to spend three full days with him before he continued on to Arizona to be officially released from his calling. I was curious to see how the boys would respond to him, since they were only 10 months old when he left and had hardly been around him at all. These two pictures were taken less than an hour after we met Jared at the airport. We went to lunch at Buca di Beppo. Henry didn't have any trouble warming up to his uncle.
Along with several get-togethers, a big family breakfast, ornament and white elephant gift exchanges and a post-church luncheon, we also had the opportunity to go to the LDS First Presidency Christmas Devotional in Salt Lake City. The Conference Center there was incredible. I've been before, but it had been a while. Here's me and my hot hubby:
Family picture with a special guest in the center. There were so many people in the Conference Center after the devotional, this was really our best option for a photo opp.
Jared will be back up here to go to BYU in a few weeks. All of us are so happy to have him home! Now we just need to get my mom up here with us...
