I was really excited about the Fourth this year! We spent the day swimming with Phil's family and stuffing our faces until we couldn't eat one more thing! There was lots of delicious food, my mouth waters just to think of it. And the fireworks were, well, lame and you know it's true if you witnessed Stadium of Fire this year. What mattered was that we were with family and that we watched a good patriotic movie: Live Free or Die Hard!
The boys jumped in the kiddie pool after we got back from swimming and put them back in their nice, dry clothes! We decided to let them play on, since it was the Fourth and all...

Henry loves swimming around while holding onto anyone's shoulders. Grampa was the lucky one here, and complained later that his feet were raw from bouncing around the pool with Henry!
Jack played all day with the water guns. Here he is shooting Auntie Lyssa instead of smiling for the camera. Typical.
